Privacy policy

Activity records and preferences

Your driving/activity entries, exception notes, timer state and preferences are stored on your device. The app has no developer-operated account, cloud database, advertising or analytics service. We do not receive your activity log automatically. Device backups and transfers are controlled by your Apple/device settings.

Location and speed

If you enable low-speed reminders, the app requests While Using the App and Precise Location access. GPS speed and accuracy are processed transiently during a Driving activity while the app is open and unlocked. Coordinates, routes and speed history are not saved by the app or sent to the developer. Permission can be changed in iOS Settings.

Microphone and speech

Voice commands start only when you tap the microphone. Microphone and Speech Recognition permission and on-device English recognition support are required. The app requires recognition on the device; it does not save recordings or upload them to a developer server. Spoken summaries use Apple’s installed speech voices.

Face ID and device authentication

Optional app access uses Apple’s device authentication. The app receives an authentication result, not your face image, biometric template or passcode. Activity timing can continue while app access is locked.

Exports, deletion and support

You choose whether to export a CSV and where to share it. Anyone receiving that file can access its contents. You can delete individual records in the app or remove its local data by deleting the app; copies in exports or device backups are separate. We cannot recover a deleted local log. If you email support or send TestFlight feedback, the information you voluntarily provide is received for handling that request. Share only what is needed. Contact us to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to any information we must retain.

Apple services

Apple operates App Store distribution, optional device backups, TestFlight diagnostics/feedback and any in-app purchase billing under its own policies. The app developer does not receive your card details. Subscription entitlement checks, if offered in the app version you use, are handled through Apple StoreKit. Apple’s privacy policy.

This support website

This site has no contact form, advertising, analytics scripts or cookies set by our page code. The hosting provider necessarily handles requests such as IP address and browser request information to deliver and secure the site under its own policies. Email links open your chosen email service.

Changes

We will update this page when app behaviour or this policy changes. The effective date above identifies the current notice.
